Notes

-
remember to work on the right layer
-
always leave a part uncut so that there is no black gap.
-
Window > Timeline > Create frame animation > Make frames from layers > Forever
-
to export as GIF, use "Save for web (legacy)"
What did you do?

-
selected parts of my body that I wanted to duplicate
-
created a layer for each part
-
moved the part around to overlay it on the initial picture
-
created a timeline with every frame and convert to GIF

What tools or skills did it require?

-
Adobe Photoshop
-
understanding of layers
-
proper outlining of elements to cut cleanly

What did you learn? How could you adapt it to other projects or contexts?
-
I didn't know Photoshop could create moving images like GIFs. It's so practical that it's all in one software.
-
GIFs are amazing because they speak louder than just one image. I can now make memes or short cartoon animations or just a compilation of many pictures together. It's a fun thing to add to social media or other media projects from other classes.
