I started wearing a mask as prevention against Covid-19 since January, and I have received a lot of dirty looks, nonverbal rejection, and mockery in public. Now that I am stuck at home, with my last three months outside being stained with prejudice and xenophobia, I wanted to use this isolation time to challenge my creative senses; so I wrote a script inspired by my negative experiences to voice my discontentment. It took over two month of on-and-off to piece this together, and although there are still corrections necessary, I am hoping to turn this into a short film (if I can) in the near future. It is 18 pages long, so I do not expect you to read it all, but I wanted to share this as an extra artifact. This was made using Celtx.
